AKC Canine Ambassador

The Kennel Club of Texarkana has an AKC Canine Ambassador (AKC Public Education Department) who is available to visit your school, business or other special event.  AKC Ambassadors focus on educating others on topics such as responsible dog ownership, basic dog care, training, canine safety tips, difference in breeds and topics related to the world of purebred dogs.  If you have interest in having an AKC Ambassador make a presentation to your group please E-MAIL us for more information.

Sandee Lively is an AKC Canine Ambassador available in the Ark-La-Tex. Her dog, Leah Lively, is a Schapendoes (Dutch Sheepdog) who came to Texas from Canada. Leah has earned various Trick Dog Titles with AKC and currently holds the title of Performer Trick Dog, so when Sandee makes presentations to your group, you can expect her to bring Leah along who will perform a few tricks for you. Sandee is also Vice President of The Kennel Club of Texarkana.
